14 win Fazal Shahabuddin Award

A total of 14 personalities have won Poet Fazal Shahabuddin Award 2015 for their resounding contributions to respective areas. SAARC Young Writers Forum recently announced the name of the award winners to mark the 79th birth anniversary and the first death anniversary of noted poet Fazal Shahabuddin.

The award winners for life-time achievement are Toab Khan (journalism), Al Mahmud (poetry), Rafiqul Huq Dadu Bhai (child literature), Selina Hossain (prose), actor Harun (film) and Khan Md Amir (entrepreneurship).

On the other hand, the award winners for 2015 are Mashuk Chowdhury (poetry), Mohit Kamal (prose), Motiur Rahman Chowdhury (journalism), Rezanur Rahman (entertainment journalism), Mohd Abdul Mannan (research and history), Khalek Bin Joinuddin (child literature), Syed Lutful Huq (art) and Abul Kashem Haider (entrepreneurship), according to a press release.
