A teenage boy committed suicide at Dalpur in the Jatrabari area in the capital on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Md Ridhoy Mia (15).
He committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling fan around 11.00pm on Wednesday.
He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead around 2: 45am on Thursday.
