15hurt in Bogra workers-students clash

BOGRA, Apr 30 (UNB): At least 15 people were injured in a clash between the students of Govt Azizul Haq College dormitory and workers of nearby Mahin Food Industries at Tinmatha on the outskirts of the town Thursday.
Police quoting witnesses said, an altercation ensued between a van-puller of the mill and three student-motorcyclists of the college at about 6.00 pm and at one stage a scuffle broke out between them.
As the news spread the students of several dormitories of the college equipped with lethal weapons and sticks launched an attack on Mahin Food Industries and ransacked it.
Later, the workers of the mill led by its owner Nazrul clashed with the students that left 15 people injured from both sides.
On information, police rushed to the spot and dispersed the mob charging batons.
