17 BAF members get BP medal

The 17 members of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) Thursday received Bravery Peacetime (BP) medal for outstanding contribution in their respective jobs, reports BSS.

The government has taken a step to award medal for their bravery and distinguished role both during wartime and peacetime with an approval of President of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh.

In this connection, for the first time a medal award ceremony for outstanding contribution during peacetime was held at Air headquarters Thursday.
