The government has transferred 17 Superintendents of Police (SPs), with 10 of them receiving the current charge of Additional Deputy Inspector General (Addl DIG), according to two gazette notifications issued by the Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs, reports BSS.
The notifications, signed by Deputy Secretary Md Mahbubur Rahman, stated that the reshuffle was made in the public interest and takes effect immediately.
