2 electrocuted in capital

Two persons died from electrocution in the city's Khilgaon area on Monday, reports UNB.

The deceased were identified as Anwar Hossain (42), son of Makbul Hossain of Nabinagar under Brahmanbaria, and Abdur Razzak (18), son of Jafar Uddin of Palashbari under Gaibandha.

Sources at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) said Razzak got electrified when he came in contact with a live electrical wire lying in the yard of the house he lives in around 5:30 am.

Anwar was also electrocuted as he came in the rescue of Razzak, leaving the duo injured.
