2 held with fake cosmetics in city

Two persons were arrested with substandard cosmetics worth Tk one million from the city's Chakbazar area Thursday night, RAB sources said.
An officer of RAB-10 unit said they raided the third floor of a six-storey building at 17/A/1 Chakbazar at about 10:30pm and seized a huge quantity of fake cosmetics of Meril and Fair and Lovely brands from there.
The elite force also arrested Nabi Ullah and Suman Hossain for their involvement in manufacturing the substandard items, which were destroyed later.
