2 killed as human hauler collides with bus

FARIDPUR, Jan 9 (UNB): Two people were killed in a collision between a bus and a human-hauler (locally known as easy-bike) on Faridpur-Barisal highway in Bhabukodia area of Bhanga upazila on Friday afternoon.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Police said the Barisal-bound 'Eagle Paribahan' bus collided head-on with the battery-run three-wheeler coming from the opposite direction on the highway around 4pm, leaving the duo dead on the spot.

Meanwhile, police seized the bus from Tekerhat area of Madaripur district.
