2 killed in Bogra bus plunge

BOGRA, Mar 12 (UNB): Two people were killed and 30 others injured as
a picnic bus plunged into a roadside ditch near Karpur Bazar under Sonatala Upazila Friday.
The deceased were identified as picnicker Jibon Roy (22), son of Shankar Roy of Lohagara village in the upazila, and bus helper Khalil (40), son of late Taslimuddin of Hajradighi village under sadar Upazila.
Police said the bus skidded off the road and fell into the ditch as its driver lost control over the steering while going to Swapnapuri (Dreamland) in Dinajpur at about 8.00am, killing Khalil on the spot and injuring 31 others.
