2 killed in city road accidents

Two persons were killed in separate road accidents in the city's Khilkhet area on Sunday, reports UNB.

A young man, aged about (35) was killed as a moving vehicle knocked him down near Lotus Kamal Multistoried Building in the small hours of Sunday.

Informed, Khilkhet police recovered the body at 3:00 am and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.

In another incident, another man, aged (45) was killed as a Tongi-bound running train hit him near Khilkhet Bazar level-crossing at noon.
