2 killed in city road crash

Two cousins were killed in a road accident in city's Purana Paltan area Thursday, reports BSS.

The deceased were identified as Abdus Salam, 25, a hotel owner in Kamrangirchar and his cousin Parvez alias Apu, 23, an Honours first year student of Dhaka College.

Sub-inspector of Paltan police station Md Morshed told BSS that the accident occurred when a speedy truck hit their rickshaw in the area. They died on the spot.

The bodies were sent to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
