2 RAB members among 5 held at Uttarkhan

Police arrested five people, including two members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in the Fouzirbagan area of the city's Uttarkhan on charge of grabbing a piece of land, reports UNB.
The arrested RAB members are Abdullah Al Mamun and Mizanur Rahman.
Sources at Uttarkhan Police Station said the RAB men were arrested around 2.30 pm on allegation that they along with criminals went there to occupy a piece of land owned by Humayun Kabir Mamun.
Mamun rented out the land erecting structures.
Around 2.30 pm, Sunday, they attacked and vandalised the structures and tried to force out inmates from there.
However, locals encircled them and informed the police.
Later, police reached the spot and arrested five attackers from the spot.
Police said they came to know that two of them were RAB members while gathering information about the arrestees.
