2 Titas officials, 8 others suspended for giving illegal gas connections

Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd, an entity of Petrobangla, temporarily suspended two officials and eight other employees recently for their involvement in giving illegal gas line or gas connections in different areas.

As per the primary investigation, Titas authorities have taken action against them as they were involved in providing illegal gas line or connections in different areas under Titas gas coverage, said a press release.

This administrative action has been taken following the decision of 685th meeting of Titas board of directors at concerned ministry headed by chairman of Titas board and energy secretary on February 10, 2014.
