2 traffic helpers held with 40 gold bars at Ctg

CHITTAGONG, May 3 (UNB): The customs authorities arrested two traffic helpers along with 40 gold bars worth Tk 24 million (2. 40 crore) at Hazrat Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong on Sunday morning.
The arrestees were identified as Belal Hossain, 40, and Sheikh Kamal, traffic helpers of the airport. Customs officials said a flight of Fly Dubai, FZ 589, landed at the airport around 9:30am.
Customs officials noticed the two helpers to remove two cartons of cigarettes while goods were being unloaded from cargo around 10:30am.
