200 bhoris of gold stolen from two Farmgate shops

Robbers stole gold ornaments from two shops at Shezan Point in the capital's Farmgate area on Tuesday night.

Owners claimed that 200 bhoris of gold ornaments were stolen from the two shops.

Sources said a gang of robbers entered the shops on the 4th floor of the market (Shezan Point), smashed close circuit cameras and decamped with the said quantity of gold ornaments.

The robbers were wearing facemasks while stealing gold from the shops.

The Detective Branch (DB) of police said gold ornaments weighing total 150 bhoris were looted from the two shops.
