2,000kg jatkas seized in Ctg

Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard seized a truckload of 2,000kg jatkas (hilsa fries) in the port city of Chittagong Monday, reports UNB.
Sources at the Coast Guard headquarters said a patrol team of the coastguards East Zone conducted a drive at Bridgeghat by the Karnaphuli River at about 10:30 am.
They seized the truck loaded with 2,000kg hilsa fries worth about Tk 0.25 million.
