21 univs sign deal with UGC for ensuring quality edn

Twenty-one universities, including 13 private ones, signed an agreement with the University Grants Commission (UGC) for putting in place a mechanism in their universities to ensure quality education.
The agreement (Round-2), involving Tk 420 million, was singed at a ceremony at UGC auditorium on Sunday.
Education Secretary Md Nazrul Islam Khan was present as the chief guest at the function chaired by UGC Chairman Prof Abdul Mannan.
