28 gold bars seized at Ctg airport

Customs officials have seized 28 gold bars, weighing 3.376 kg, from an inbound passenger at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram, reports bdnews24.com.
Passenger Shafi Alam concealed the bars inside the charger light and torch he was carrying in his luggage and were found during scan, said Md Neamul Hasan, deputy commissioner at Chittagong customs.
