3 bodies recovered in Savar

SAVAR, Aug 20 (UNB): In separate incidents, the bodies of three people have been recovered from separate places here.

The deceased were identified as Sagorika Akhter, 20, wife of Rabiul Islam, Jewel Hossain, 22, and Rahat Hossain, 7, son of Foyez Ahmed.

Police recovered the body of Sagorika from her house in Hemayetpur area under Tetuljhora union on Wednesday morning, said officer-in-charge of Savar Model Police Station Dipak Kumar Saha.

Meanwhile, locals found the body of Jewel Hossain in the Turag River in Baliarpur area on Tuesday night.

Witnesses said Jewel drowned in the river after he went to take bath with his friends on Tuesday evening.
