3 cops sued over extortion

A case has been filed against three policemen of Bangshal Police Station in the capital with the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court for extorting money from a businessman, reports UNB.
The three accused are Sub-inspector Mohammad Murshid of the police station and two constables, Moazzem Hossain and Pradip Kumar.
Mokbul Hossain, owner of Quality Accessories Ltd, a firm doing business on garment accessories, filed the case with the court of CMM Mostafizur Rahman on Thursday morning.
