3 kg gold seized at HSIA

The Customs Intelligence Department of Hazrat Shah Jalal International Airport (HSIA) has detained a homebound passenger and seized three kg's of gold worth about Taka 1,35,00,000 from his possession.
The Customs Intelligence officials halted Morshedul Alam, a resident of Chittagong district who returned from Dubai by an aircraft of Biman Bangladesh Airlines at about 6.30pm while the passenger crossing the green channel. The customs officials him and seized the 26 gold bars about three kg's from his possession.  Later he was handed over to Police.
