3 killed, 7 hurt in Sirajganj road crash

SIRAJGANJ, Sept 5 (UNB): Three people were killed and seven others injured when a shallow engine-run three-wheeler, Bhatbhati, overturned on Dhaka-Bogra highway near Dhangora Bazar in Raiganj upazila on Friday.

The identities of the victims could not be known immediately.

Locals said the locally made vehicle coming from Hatikumrul of Salanga upazila turned turtle on the highway after its driver lost control over the steering in the afternoon, leaving the three dead on the spot and seven others injured.

The injured were first taken to Raiganj Upazila Health Complex from where two of them were shifted to a Bogra hospital as their condition deteriorated.
