3 of a family killed in bike crash

TANGAIL, Jan 10 (UNB): Three members of a family were killed as a truck crashed into their motorcycle on Ghatail-Gopalpur road in Shantanagar-Majidpur area of Ghatail upazila on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Sumon, 25, his sister Asma Khatun, 32, and Asma's daughter Maria, 4, of Bascharon village in Kalihati upazila.
Police said the truck hit the motorbike in the area around 4pm, leaving the trio dead on the spot.
