31 arrested in Satkhira while entering BD

SATKHIRA, Jan 3 (UNB): Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained on Saturday 31 people, including five human traffickers, while entering Bangladesh illegally through Dhopadanga border in Debhata upazila.

The detained human traffickers are Shafiqul Islam, 25, Yead Ali, 50, Idris Ali, 28, Abdul Khalek, 20, and Alamgir Hossain, 25.

Additional Director of BGB-34 Battalion Major Kazi Ahadul Islam said they arrested the people as they entered the Bangladesh territory without any valid documents.
