348 flights cancelled in eight days

A total of 348 international flights to and from Bangladesh and Middle Eastern destinations have been cancelled due to the US-Israel and Iran conflict in the last eight days since February 28.

Of the total, 268 flights-- including 20 on Saturday-- have been cancelled at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in the capital.

Chattogram's Shah Amanat International Airport witnessed cancellation of 80 flights, including 12 on Saturday.

At the HSIA, Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways each cancelled two flights. Air Arabia suspended six flights, while Gulf Air cancelled two services at Dhaka on Saturday. Qatar Airways called off four flights, and Emirates Airlines cancelled four services.
