38th death anniv of Zainul Abedin today

The 38th death anniversary of legendary artist Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin will be observed today (Wednesday), reports UNB.

Various socio-cultural organisations, including the Faculty of Fine Arts of Dhaka University, Dhaka Art Centre and Gallery Chitrak, have chalked out elaborate programmes to mark the occasion.

The programmes include placing wreaths at the grave of Zainul Abedin on Dhaka University campus and discussions.

Meanwhile, President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina have issued separate messages on the occasion of the death anniversary of the great artist.
