3G network upto UZ level soon

Road Transport and Bridges Minister, also in charge of the Post, Teleco-mmunications and ICT Ministry in Parliament, Obaidul Quader said the government has undertaken various projects to expand the 3G (Third Generation) network up to the upazila level soon, reports BSS.

"The government has already introduced the 3G services in all divisional cities and district towns before the stipulated period," he said, while replying to a question from treasury bench member Begum Hosne Ara Lutfa Dalia in the House.

Quader said currently 1,11,83,000 subscribers were enjoying 3G services in the country till December last year.
