4 killed in separate incidents in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, July 2 (BSS): Four people were killed in separate incidents in the port city Wednesday.
The dead are Mohammad Rasel (21), a worker of Bangladesh Steel Re-Rolling Mills (BSRM) in Nasirabad Industrial area in the city, Nurul Alam (41), a mentally disable man, hailing from Ashadganj area, adolescent Tara Mia (15), hailing from Bakalia thana and an unidentified girl aged about 14.
Rasel was electrocuted when he came in contact with a live electric wire while working at BSRM industry in the city's Nasirabad Industrial area around 8:00 am, police outpost sources at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) said.
Kotwali Thana Police said Nurul Alam died on the spot when a truck crushed him under its wheel in Ashadganj area around 12:00 pm. Adolescent Tara Mia drowned in a canal in Tulatali area of Bakalia thana in the city at 1:00 pm.
Besides, Sadarghat Thana Police recovered an unidentified body of a female person from inside a bag beside the road of Ice factory at about 2:00 am. Police suspected that the ill-fated girl was stabbed to death by unidentified persons.
