40 ASPs become addl SPs

The interim government has promoted 40 assistant superintendents of police (ASPs) to the rank of additional superintendent of police (addl SP) in the final phase of its tenure, just two weeks ahead of the election, reports bdnews24.com.
On Thursday, the home ministry issued a notification announcing the promotions.
The order instructed the promoted officers to submit their joining letters to the ministry's senior secretary.
