Two courts in Dhaka have granted bail to 43 HSC examinees accused in 34 cases filed with different police stations over the anti-quota movement.
Lawyers filed two separate petitions, seeking bail for the students whose exams are scheduled to begin August 11.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Rashidul Alam granted bail to 37 students of the capital, while senior judicial magistrate M Mustafizur Rahman granted bail to six students of Savar, Ashulia and Keraniganj upazilas of Dhaka.
Additional Public Prosecutor Md Anwarul Kabir Babul confirmed the update to the FE.
