5 foreign nationals held with fake passport

Police picked up five Nigerians, including a woman, in the city's Uttara area and seized five fake passports from them last night, reports BSS.

Twenty-four cans of beer were also recovered from their possession.

The arrestees were Dumanteer (32), Meri Toni (35), Jerinalipen (37), Blomercho (32) and Eusuf (40).

"We have rounded up these five from house number 31, road No 7/D under sector 9 of Uttara last night. We have sent them to Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court Sunday," sub-inspector (SI) Akram Hossain of Uttara West thana told the news agency.

Two separate cases were filed against them in this connection.
