The 5th death anniversary of freedom fighter Md Imamul Kabir Shanto, a visionary entrepreneur and pioneer in creative and vocational education in Bangladesh, will be observed today (Friday), says a press release.
Imamul Kabir Shanto was the founding chairman of Shanto-Mariam Foundation, Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology, and Sundarban Courier Service (Pvt.) Ltd.
He died on May 30, 2020, at the age of 66.
Marking the day, a discussion on his life and milad mahfil will be held.
His family and the management of Shanto-Mariam Foundation and the affiliated institutions have requested all to pray for the eternal peace of his departed soul.
