7 held with 1250 Yaba tablets at DU

Police in a drive arrested seven outsiders along with 1,250 pieces of Yaba tablets on Dhaka University (DU) campus Monday, reports UNB.

The arrestees were identified as Wasim, Sajib, Shuzan, Bachchu, Shahidul Islam, Kabul and Akbar.

Tipped off, a team of Shahbagh thana police along with the authorities concerned of DU launched a drive in the area at around 1:30 and arrested them near Haji Muhammad Mohsin Hall while they were going to sell Yaba tablets, said DU acting proctor Dr Amzad Ali.
