The 7th death anniversary of Mirza Ali Behrouze Ispahani was observed at Mirza Ahmed Ispahani High School in Chattogram on Tuesday, says a statement.
He was a son of Mirza Mehdi Ispahani, founder of Mirza Ahmed Ispahani High School, and brother of Mirza Salman Ispahani, chairman MM Ispahani Ltd.
Marking the day, recitation from the Holy Quran, doa and milad mahfil were held in the school auditorium seeking divine peace for the departed soul.
Ali Ahmad and Ahmed Palash, assistant teachers of the school, delivered speech on the precious aspects of his life.
Raian Mahbub, Tanjika Abedin, Salman Chowdhury, Samiha Nowsin, Tasmia Ebadi and Tafannum Mahmud delivered speech on his biography. A drawing competition and an essay competition were also held for the students.
Besides, a wall magazine was brought out highlighting various aspects of his life.
The programme was presided over by the headmaster of Mirza Ahmed Ispahani High School. He advised the students to follow the ideology of this superb personality.
