8 members of fake marriage media arrested in city

Detectives arrested eight suspected members of a fraud marriage media from the city's Mohhamadpur area on Tuesday, report agencies.
The arrestees were identified as Kawsar Ahmed alias Mithu, Kamal Hossain, Saiful Islam alias Ripon, Md Nur Alam, Md Waliur Rahman, Shahin Alam, Zakir Hossain and Parul Akhter.
Tipped off, a team of Detective Branch (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) raided a house at Alam Road in Mohammadpur on Tuesday noon and arrested the eight people.
