Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard seized a wooden boat along with 80 maunds of jatkas (hilsa fries less than 10 inches in length) from the Meghna river at Logimarar Char in Chandpur district on Friday.
Sources at the Coast Guard headquarters said a team of Coast Guard Chandpur station conducted a drive in the area around 10:30 am and recovered 80 maunds of jatka from the boat in an abandoned condition.
