JESSORE, Feb 6: The members of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Thursday arrested 9 Bangladeshis including two children while they were going to India illegally through Benapole frontier.
M Abdullah, in-charge of BGB, Benapole check post camp, said, being tipped off the BGB men made the arrest of the nine while they were going to India illegally. They were being taken to India by human traffickers, he added.
The arrestees hailed from Faridpur and Narail districts. A case was filed with Benapole port thana. They were handed over to Benapole port thana.
