9 BDR mutineers get different prison terms

RANGAMATI, May 2 (UNB): A special court Sunday convicted nine BDR mutineers of Rajnagar 12 Rifles Battalion in Rangadu Upazila and sentenced them to different prison terms in BDR mutiny case.
Special Court-4, headed by outgoing BDR Chief Major General Mainul Islam, sat at 2:30 pm and handed the verdict before ending its proceedings at 2:45 pm in district BDR headquarters.
The court also fined all the convicts Tk. 100 each and ordered to serve their imprisonment in local jail.
