96 flee from vagrant shelter centre after killing one, injuring 10

MYMENSINGH, June 8 (UNB): Ninety-six vagabonds fled from a vagabond shelter centre at Dhola in Trishal Upazila after killing one of their fellow men and injuring 10 others Wednesday night.
Local sources said an altercation started between two groups of vagabonds when one group came to know that the other group had planned to flee the centre.
They also threatened the opponent group that they would inform the matter to the authority concerned.
At one stage of altercation, the rival group attacked the vagabonds who threatened to disclose their plan. They later strangulated Shah Alam (18), to death and beat up 10 others. Later, 96 vagabonds fled the centre breaking the window grills.
