The results for the first year admission test of Dhaka University's (DU) 'Kha' unit under Faculty of Arts for 2021-22 academic session were published on Monday with a pass rate of 9.87 per cent.
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman announced the results at a press conference at Professor Abdul Matin Chowdhury Virtual Classroom in the administrative building of DU. Pro-VC (Academic) Prof Dr ASM Maksud Kamal, 'Kha' unit test coordinator and Arts Faculty Dean Prof Dr Abdul Bashir, convener of the online admission committee Prof Dr Md Mustafizur Rahman and others were also present there.
This year, 5,622 students among the 56,972 admission seekers (attended the test) passed the test for available 1,788 seats.
The results can be viewed from the university website (www.admission.eis.du.ac.bd) or via short message service (SMS) on any mobile operator service.
For SMS notification of the result, a candidate will have to type "DU Kha roll number" and send it to 16321.
The successful students of the test have been asked to fill up and submit the choice list through the website from July 4 at 3pm to July 21 at 3pm.
Those students who applied for different quota are asked to collect quota form from the Dean office of Faculty of Arts and submit within July 17 to July 24.
For rechecking the result, any student can apply to the Arts Faculty Dean office by paying the fixed amount fees within June 29 to July 6, 2022. This year, the 'Kha' unit admission test was held in eight divisional cities on June 4.
