A school opens with new vision

A new brand school Iqra Ideal School was opened at Nasirabad of Khilgaon in the city recently with a commitment to free the school from corporal punishment.
In the inaugural ceremony of the school, the headmaster Mohsin Hasan and his teaching staff also vowed never to beat children.
Sir Frank Peters, a human rights advocate, inaugurated the school.
He said at every stage of children's development, they should be encouraged and motivated to think and act positively.
"A teacher's task is to foster learning which is best done in a happy environment", he added.
Guardians and students were present to celebrate the day, says a press release.
