Veteran journalist ABM Musa has been kept on life support at Labaid Hospital in the city since Monday night, reports UNB.
He was taken to the hospital at about 2:00 am Monday and doctors put him on life support as his health condition was critical, according to relatives of the 83-year-old journalist.
Musa's younger brother Dr Ibrahim told the news agency that he has been receiving treatment at Labaid Hospital for old-age complications since January this year.
He was hospitalised several times since January, but he used to take 'temporary leave' whenever he felt a bit better to stay with his family members at his residence, Dr Ibrahim said.
