ACC chairman's mother dies

Noor Iqbal Khanam Chowdhury, mother of Anti-Corruption Commission chairman Lt Gen (retd) Hasan Mashhud Chowdury, died at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Saturday morning. She was 80, reports UNB.
Sources said Noor Iqbal Khanam, who was under treatment at the CMH for the last 15 days, breathed her last at about 7:20am. She is survived by two sons and two daughters.
