ACC sues two for embezzling Habiganj college fund

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Tuesday lodged a case against a former principal and a cashier of a college in Habiganj for misappropriating Tk 1.91 million, which was collected as fees from the students.

The two accused are former principal of Brindaban Government College in Habiganj Bijit Kumar Bhattacharya (currently works at Comilla Victoria Government College) and the cashier Md Babul Mia, said ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharjee.

ACC Integrated District Office in Habiganj deputy director Moloy Kumar Saha filed the case with Habiganj Sadar Model Thana on the day.
