The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) have signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further accelerate and strengthen their anti-corruption activities.
The MoU was signed at the ACC headquarters in Dhaka on Wednesday.
This marks the fifth MoU between the two organisations, with the partnership beginning on May 25, 2015, when a two-year MoU was initially signed.
Director General (Prevention) Md Akhter Hossain signed the agreement on behalf of the ACC, while Executive Director Dr Iftekharuzzaman signed on behalf of TIB.
The signing ceremony was attended by ACC Chairman Dr Mohammad Abdul Momen, Commissioner (Investigation) Brigadier General (Retd) Hafiz Ahsan Farid, Secretary Mohammad Khaled Rahim, and other senior officials.
