Admission test for MBBS courses today

The admission test for MBBS courses in the 14 public medical colleges of the country will be held from 10 am to 11 am today.
A total of 24,238 students will sit for the test. Of them, 2,060 eligible candidates will be selected for enrolment on the basis of merit. Some 12 applicants will vie for each seat.
The admission test under the Dhaka Medical College will take place at Dhaka University. Tests of Khaleda Zia Medical College and Salimullah Medical College will be held respectively at Titumir College and Eden College in the city.
The remaining public medical colleges will hold the tests on their respective campuses at the same time.
The health ministry has banned all activities of the medical coaching centres across the country for three days from October 24 as allegations of leaking out question papers and cheating admission seekers have already been raised against them.
