AFD programme concludes

Round-the-year programmes for celebrating 50 years of Alliance Française in Dhaka (AFD) came to an end Friday night at the Rose Garden in old Dhaka with a cultural programme, said AFD.
A group of Bangladeshi and French artistes presented dances and music.
The old Rose Garden got back its previous vivid look also with the excellent light and sound work presented by a group of AFD. And the spectacular first-ever Herbert's dream performance staged by a four-member theatre team from France finally amazed the invited guests and other audiences.
Speaking as chief guest Minister for Information and Culture Abul Kalam Azad said: Bangladesh is ready to work together with France for promoting cultural ties as well as strengthening trade and economic co-operation.
