Agro-technology fair begins

MYMENSINGH, July 23 (BSS): The Agriculture Technology Transfer and Tree Fair-2007 began on the premises of Muktagachha Upazila Parishad Monday with the aim of familiarising the farmers with modern agri-equipment.
Deputy director of the agriculture department Azizur Rahman formally inaugurated fair, which was organised by Muktagachha Upazila Agriculture Extension office.
A total of 15 stalls displaying agri-technologies and saplings of fruit bearing, timber and medicinal trees were set up in the fair.
Upazila Agriculture Extension officer Md Shahedulla, employees of the concerned department and local nursery owners were also present on the occasion.
