The 11th death anniversary of prominent labour leader and freedom fighter Ahsanullah Master will be observed in the capital city as elsewhere across the country, particularly at his home district Gazipur, with a daylong programme today (Thursday), reports BSS.
Ashanullah Master, who was elected twice as a parliamentarian from Gazipur Sadar-Tongi seat to the Jatiya Sangsad in 1996 and 2001, was gunned down on this day in 2004, by a gang of assailants at Tongi while he was speaking at a party rally.
