AL man killed at Ishwardi

PABNA, Apr 17 (BSS): Unidentified assailants slaughtered overnight an Awami League leader of Ishwardi upazila unit at his Laxmikunda residence, police said on Friday.

"We recovered Rajab Ali Mandal's bloodstained body from his house" said assistant superintendent of police Mohammad Shahanur Alam Patwary. Mandal, 60, was the general secretary of Awami League's Laxmikunda Union.

"The body was sent to Pabna Medical College Hospital for postmortem," Patwary said adding that an investigation was ordered to track down the killers.
